DURATHON for Performance

DURATHON is used by professional and amateur athletes to improve in activities that continue in excess of four minutes.

DURATHON produces a carbohydrate (glycogen) sparing effect. It is when carbohydrate (glucose and glycogen) are metabolized for energy (this process is called glycolysis) that lactic acid is produced. DURATHON can replace up to 43% of the muscle's carbohydrate metabolism with fat, lowering lactic acid formation by 33%. Lactic acid in the muscle is that burning sensation you may sometimes feel during an intense workout. A muscle can become so acidic that it can no longer contract.

Scientific studies have shown that caffeine improves endurance through a carbohydrate sparing action. Athletes who train/compete over 20 plus hours a week should take two 600-mg capsules of
